Thoughts

You are the only thinker in your universe, and what you think will be demonstrated in your life experiences. Many of us scoff at such a notion, thinking that it is a lot of hocus pocus. But if we really take an account of our lives, we would see that life produced just what we were thinking about at the time. This is true for the people around us as well. We all probably know someone who complains that they cannot get ahead in their finances, and they never do. We are most likely familiar with someone who complains of being sick all the time as well.. and that person surely gets every new illness that comes down the pike. Just tune into what others are saying around you, and then look at the fruitage in their lives. No person can rise above their most deep seeded thoughts and confessions of such. Think of it in these terms; your life is like a sacred garden, and what you think, really believe in and then speak are like the seeds you plant in that garden. What kind of crop have you been growing lately?

Thankful

We probably have all heard many speeches and sermons about being truly thankful on Thanksgiving. But how many of us have ever truly implemented those messages in our own lives? It seems all too easy to turn a deaf ear to those who espouse a way of higher living in our world. This year, however, let us truly take at least a moment or two to really think of how true thankfulness could change the very world we live in. If many of us were truly thankful for our families, we would spend more meaningful time with our loved ones, and those meaningful moments would translate into warm memories that would last a lifetime and beyond. If all of us were truly thankful for our jobs and careers, we would respect the other people at our place of work. There would be less backbiting, gossip and stress on the job; because we would work in harmony with one another to make sure that our place of employment ran smoothly. If you really think about it, you will realize just how many businesses have failed because of greed, dishonesty and selfishness. Being grateful for what we have would eliminate such behaviors, because we would actually want what was best for our place of employment.
What would our world look like if we were all thankful to be alive and living on this beautiful planet we call home? What if we were all thankful for all of the many countries and the natural resources that these lands provide? Might we then treat one another with more appreciation and realize that we all need each other in this thing called life. Would we then stop all the greed, price gauging and feuding in our world trade system? Could we possibly come closer to achieving world peace, if we were all thankful for each other, and our willingness to share openly with our brethren?
Let us ask ourselves what would happen if we were all thankful for the Divine Spirit that dwells with and within each and every one of us. What if we all realized that we were truly not alone in this world? What if we came to the realization that we are all connected because we are all children of the same loving God that made all things? Might we have more compassion and love for one another if we were to realize that we are all the same in heaven’s eyes? Might we all have plenty if we realized that God is our source, and that He has more than enough to provide each and every one of our personal needs?
I believe that if we really think about it, thankfulness means so much more than giving a passive nod to the turkey that will grace our dinner tables this year. It means so much more than knowing that we are better off than the homeless man, or the individual who has less than we do. Thankfulness, true thankfulness, could perhaps change the world if we ventured to let it shine forth from our hearts… Happy Thanksgiving to all.

The Kingdom Of Heaven Truly Is Within You

There are many of us that have been taught that God is far away from the human race. We see the Divine Spirit as some bearded man in the sky, who is hard to reach with our prayers. The question is often asked, "where is God when I need him?" The truth is, the Divine is not far off. We need not go to some brick and mortar building or shrine to gain access to Spirit... for God is right where we are. The scriptures speak of humanity as being the living stones that compose the house of God. So where did we ever get the idea that the Divine Spirit was locked away in the heavens, or in some tabernacle in a church?

In metaphysics, we are taught that the temple of God is within the heart of us all. We are told that if we just quiet the mind, and rest in the silence, the still small voice of God will be heard. Did not Jesus say that the kingdom of heaven is within us. Did he not also say, that the kingdom is right in our midst? Why then, do so many who take the scriptures literally not believe in these words? You are being asked right now, to believe in those words. Know that there is a sacred place within you, where the candle of God shines forth with all it's power, wisdom and love. You can commune with this holy presence within. All you need to do is shut out the distractions of the material world, close your eyes, and listen.

Using oracular tools like the Runes, I-Ching or Angel oracle cards is also a great way to get in touch with the higher voice within. One man who I introduced to the Runes said the ancient stones were like turning up the volume on the still small voice within. I agreed with his words, because the Runes seem to bring Divine wisdom to the forefront of our minds. This was the main purpose of writing my up coming book, "The Metaphysical Power Of The Runes." Because I have encountered so many people who feel that they are alone in this thing called life. I feel the book is so important because it helps to bring God home, right where we live. I also suggest that people educate themselves in metaphysical thought by reading such authors as Dr. Joseph Murphy, Emmet Fox and Ernest Holmes. Knowledge is power, and this kind of knowledge makes the power of God accessable to us all.

The Metaphysical Power Of The Runes

The mind is like ancient pyramid, filled with wisdom beyond your conscious knowing. The conscious mind, (or the part of your mind that is awake and alert throughout the day,) is the very tip of the pyramid. The conscious mind deals in making choices, reason, and gathering information through the five physical senses. The subconscious mind is like the very large base of the pyramid, and within it is the power to change your world. In my upcoming book, "The Metaphysical Power Of The Runes," you will be shown how to reach the deeper wisdom of your subconscious mind using ancient symbols. The techniques are easy.. the results are life changing.

The Metaphysical Power Of The Runes combines the ancient art of Rune casting with Metaphysical/New Thought concepts. The result is a fresh, never before done interpretation of the Futhark. This book is timely and relevent for the age in which we live, and is dedicated to making our world a better place... one life at a time. The Runes are an oracular tool that transend time and rises once again to give wisdom and light to a new generation.

Keep up with my blog for updates and release date.

The Dark Side Of The Oracular

When most of us think about oracles and divination, we tend to imagine a hooded figure hunched over a spread of tarot cards in a dreary room. We have visions of death cards, bad omens and hard luck. But all of these things are merely concepts steeped in old wives tales and superstition. We must ask ourselves if a deck of cards, or a stone with an ancient symbol painted on it really has the power to predict our fate. Most people would be surprised to find out that the answer to that question is a resounding no. It may appear that some gifted prophet may have the ability to gaze upon an oracle and foretell future events. But the reality of the situation is that you are actually the prophet of your own life. We will now take a look at why this is so.

We probably all known of someone who has visited a fortuneteller, received a bad reading and watched in amazement as the horrific predictions unfolded in their lives. It seemed that the seer was right about the tough times that were about to come. But what about the individual who went to that same clairvoyant, received an equally bad report, laughed it off, and never seen one of the bleak forecasts come to pass? Was the all seeing psychic right about one person’s future, and so embarrassingly wrong about the next? The truth of the matter boils down to what the person receiving the reading believed. One person may have believed the alarming reading by the psychic. They may have left the reading filled with fear and worry. They may have let the seer’s words haunt them as they thought about it over and over again with much apprehension. The next person may have seen the visit to the psychic as purely entertainment, and not believed a word that fell from the cryptic seer’s lips. The difference was what the individuals receiving the reading believed.

Fear is a powerful force that can manifest unwanted results just as sure as faith can cause something wonderful to happen. Why is it that a man diagnosed with terminal cancer can happily believe in the curative power of his God, and be miraculously restored to good health? Yet another man who is perfectly healthy will constantly worry about his health and suddenly be stricken with some horrid disease and perish in a matter of weeks. How can one person play with a Ouija board, and claim to have sinister entities haunting them thought it, yet another person will never even get the planchette to move at all. Again, the results are equivalent to what the person truly believed. I personally known of people that could tell Ouija board tales that would make your hair stand on end. They told of ancient witches coming through and claiming the board user as their lover. I have heard stories of furry demons running through people’s houses because the board acted as a gateway that brought them through. A relative of mine even says that her board asked her to make love to it or it would kill her entire family. So many accounts of evil, scary happenings, yet I have personally taken Ouija boards to old forgotten graveyards and haunted locations, and never contacted any such entities. The board remained still and silent and no malevolent ghosts followed me home.

The most peculiar thing is that devices such as the Ouija board were originally invented as a means to communicate with the wisdom of our subconscious mind. They were known as talking boards, and were said to bring forth our own deepest wisdom from within. So how did such tools then become ghoulish instruments that were supposed to contact the spirits of the dead? I propose that this happened the same way in which the sign of the pentagram became a supposed symbol of Satan and evil. In decades past, the pentagram was used as a sign for meditation, and was at one time even the symbol of the Christian church. The pentagram was used for many positive purposes in years gone by. In fact, the top point of the pentagram pointed upwards, reminding us of the Divine and from where we once came. There was no such thing as a satanic pentagram until modern day Satanists turned the symbol upside down and perverted its meaning for their own uses. There is nothing good on this earth that someone else has not used for dark and twisted purposes.

In closing, I would like to drive the point home that no oracle is cursed. No deck of cards or set of stones has the power to predict your future. All of these oracular devices were created so that we could bring forth our own deepest wisdom from within. They were tools that were supposed to be used to help us plumb the depths of our own powerful subconscious minds. But somewhere along the line, superstition and fear warped the true meaning of what these tools were meant to be. I would suggest that all of us stay away from any oracular tool that has bleak interpretations for its symbols. Such things can certainly be detrimental to our well being. This is so, because if one feeds fearful information into the subconscious mind, the subconscious mind will begin to draw unfavorable circumstances into their life. Look at your subconscious mind as a computer. What you program into it, is what it will display on the screen of your life. The subconscious mind can also be looked at as a magnet; it will draw to it whatever it is charged with. Therefore, choose wisely when it comes to oracular devices, and do not let anyone read the cards for you who will interpret them in a morbid fashion. Remember the old adage, “garbage in, garbage out.” This is certainly true when it comes to the subconscious mind. What you believe is what you will receive, therefore, stay away from the negative and the fearful. And do not explore the dark side of the oracular; it is like bitter water that should never be ingested.
