We sometimes wonder why life seems to throw us a curveball now and then or even be completely unfair. It's easy to have a, why me, mentality. But maybe we should stop and think that there is a reason for every trial that life brings to us. The soldier may face hardship on the field of battle; but if he emerges victorious with his soul enshrouded in glory, then the battle was worth every burdensome step forward. Perhaps we are here to learn and purify our souls, so that we might climb higher in the spiritual dimensions after this brief time of struggle.
