"We wouldn't have all of these Covid cases
if we didn't keep testing for the virus"
But isn't that a bit like saying:
" we wouldn't have so much cancer or heart disease
If we stopped testing people
who exhibited symptoms of these illnesses."
It isn't always the wisest thing to do, to follow popular opinion; especially when you are standing on a sinking ship and everyone in the group is agreeing that ships can float... even if they are FILLED with water!
