As I emerged from the bedroom this morning and tuned into the local news, I realized just how much unimportant nonsense the media floods into our lives. If they're not giving is the somber new about rising gasoline prices or perseverating on the life of some celebrity, they are inundating us with death destruction or the latest disease. It seems the most worthwhile thing to watch on the news is the weather forecast.
