23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Religion often tells us the God sometimes doesn't answer prayer. It tells us that sometimes it is the will of the Divine that man suffer to learn some higher lesson. It tells us that we are powerless and destined to live whatever path that fate has etched out for us. Many religions sneer at the topic of manifestation and tell us that such ideas are pipe dreams and fairy tales... Yet the very book that some preach from is riddled with such verses as the one above. Interesting how the message changes from the book to the pulpit.
