Is God a legalistic man, sitting on a golden throne? Has he put forth staunch doctrines that we must believe in, or suffer the eternal consequences? Is he indifferent to our challenges and sufferings, and expect us to uphold those Divine doctrines no matter what this life may throw at us? Or is all of this just a misrepresentation of the Divine being, that many have adhered to for centuries?
