Merry Christmas Eve everyone, I was skimming the headlines today, and actually came across a very positive story. We talk a lot about metaphysics on this blog and in the podcast, and lo and behold, this great little article on Christian Science popped up on a major news website this morning. Maybe someone out there is giving us all a little affirmative nod and glint of light and hope for our future. There's definitely some good stuff to contemplate here as we head into the new year together.
What is reality? And what is ultimate truth in a world where sometimes nothing makes sense? What does the spirit of Christmas have to do with the reality in which we live? And will the Christmas season fade into an apocalyptic New Year filled with new challenges and greater worries? Will there be a catastrophic Global reset in the year to come, or is this season of warmth and love a springboard into a higher way of thinking and living?
In the latest episode of The Mind's Eye, we will be talking about the concept of Christmas, what it represents and how to carry its Goodwill throughout the rest of the year. We will also be asking the question, have many of us lost sight of what Christmas is really all about?
As we get ready to enter into a new year, many of us will make New Year's resolutions. And many will make those resolutions with a hope that the coming new year will be better and lighter than the year that has just passed behind us. But I would say, that as we contemplate our resolutions, we should ask ourselves, did we contribute to the atmosphere of darkness in the year 2020. Did we allow ourselves to partake of the hatred, division, anger, racism and blame? And if so, it might be a good idea to get in touch with the magic and love of Christmas and let it be born Anew in our hearts and then permeate the year to come. May love shine forth in all that we do.
Rigged elections, proud boys, conspiracy theories, racism and the threat of civil-war; all of these things seem to permeate the headlines in the news today. Are any of these movements justified in their cause? Should we consider choosing a side and jumping on one of the passing bandwagons? Or is there a better way?
Are there aliens among us? Can we believe the many stories that have been told about flying saucers and alien abductions over the years? Are the governments of the world being honest with us when it comes to the subject of extraterrestrials? Have you ever personally seen, a UFO? All of this and more will be the topic of our conversation in this episode of The Mind's Eye..
And also, in this podcast, I will be sharing several, personal UFO stories that certainly made me believe there is more out there in the universe than meets the eye!
The ancient Christians believed that it was possible to grieve the Spirit of God within, and cause it to flee from us. The Urantia Book speaks of the Divine Thought Adjuster, which will depart the human consciousness if the person it indwells rejects the ways of God. In both schools of thought, when the Spirit departs, the individual will revert back to very barbaric or base behaviors. Are we beginning to see this happen to many in our world today? And, will things get worse if we continue on our current trajectory as a race? This is a time when we all need to reflect upon our lives and take a serious moral inventory of our personal behavior.
On December 21st, 2020, Jupiter and Saturn will be aligned in our night sky. Some hypothesize that this was the original Christmas star that the wise men followed to the birthplace of Christ. Some see this event as an omen a troubling times ahead. What will it represent to you?
There are a wide variety of Ministries and teachers today, commingling the concepts of metaphysics and gnosticism into one unified philosophy. But do these two schools of thought blend together cohesively, or do they contradict and cancel one another out on the spiritual as well as the doctrinal levels?
Christmas is right around the corner, and there are a lot of people who are hurting financially right now. How is it possible, that there are so many religious and spiritual people who consider life to be sacred; yet in their actions, put the lives of others in jeopardy? How could it be, that they're all religious and spiritual people who have lost precious family members to the covid virus, yet still refuse to wear a mask when they are around other people, and insist that they are going to have large Gatherings of family and friends in their homes for the holiday? I personally know of three families who lost parents, grandparents and friends to covid-19, yet had 30, plus people in their homes for Thanksgiving. Including family members who were physically close to those who were infected. Is this being irresponsible? Am I being irrational in questioning these actions? How can we lose and grieve over our loved ones but then turn around and say that we don't care, and that we're going to live our lives the way we want to anyway? I for one, and certainly not understanding this phenomenon. Are we just being overly selfish? Have our minds been melted by all of the conspiracy theories floating around in the world today? Or are we just taking our social cues from people that we should not be taking them from? I think this is a time in human history, where we all need to examine our values and beliefs, and be honest about our choices of right and wrong... love of self and love of others.

There is man's reality, often filled with chaos, division, sickness and discord. Then, there is God's reality, which is infinite peace, joy, love and healing. Which reality do you choose to dwell in?
Most people are familiar with the gathering, of the Evangelical community around President Donald Trump. Many prophecies have been uttered over this individual, putting him forth to be a modern-day King David, or King Cyrus, who would bring prayer and God back to the United States and make this country, great again. And most Christians and religious people, just went along with these beliefs and prophecies, because after all, these were respected religious leaders telling us these things. But what if there was something else behind the mask, that most people were not quite aware of. What all of this political clamoring from the pulpit had a different agenda attached to it, than most of us would believe.
Dominion theology, most people have never heard that word before. But it is a theology that many fundamentalist and Evangelical Christians believe in. And Dominion theology tells them that, as Christians, they must Dominate and rule the world as God's chosen people. They believe that there are certain things that they must do in order to cause Christ to return to the Earth and set up his kingdom. And how else will Christians who believe in Dominion theology make this happen, if not through politicians. Perhaps this is a bit of an eye opener as to why so many fundamentalists and evangelicals have cozied up to politicians over the years; and continually told their followers how important it was to vote, and in many cases, exactly who they should vote for. Sure, christianizing the world sounds pretty innocent and could actually not turn out to be such a bad thing. After all, what if we could get everyone to live up to the highest ideals of Jesus? But this is not so with Dominion theology because like many other religions where certain individuals think they are the chosen ones of God, Dominion theology will take away the rights a various people, outlaw their religions, persecute the non-believers and even condemn to death those who break the laws of the Old Testament. Some who believe in Dominion theology have even proposed bringing back the law of stoning someone to death for breaking the law. Sound crazy? It is actually the truth. This is why I have been telling people throughout this whole political, religious debacle in the United States, to be careful who they follow. Because it just might be leading to somewhere they don't want to go. But then again, sadly there are some folks who know exactly where this path is leading, and they want nothing better than to persecute and prosecute those who do not believe as they do.
Dominion theology, it is anything but the highest ideals of Christ. And in the latest episode of The Mind's Eye podcast, my guest, Clint heacock and I will discuss these things in much more detail.
