The following is a simple way to do candle magick, but it is very effective. First, purchase a small votive candle. Then using a thin blade or a pin carve a pentagram into the side of the candle. And don't worry, the pentagram is not a symbol of evil, that is just old wives tales. The pentagram is actually a symbol of protection and its five points represent earth, air, fire, water and spirit. It is a great manifestation tool.
Next, dip your finger into a small amount of olive oil and rub it on the candle from top to bottom. As you rub the oil on the candle, concentrate on what you want the candle magick to achieve for you. Once this is done the candle is ready to use. Now simply light the candle and say an affirmation five times such as, "I am healthy healed and whole now," or "Money comes to me quickly, easily and without effort," or "The love of my life is in my life right now." After you have said your affirmation, sit quietly for a few minutes and just stare into the candle's flame and visualize your desire as if it has already come to pass. Next, blow out the candle and repeat this ritual once a day for five days. On the fifth day, leave the candle lit and let it burn itself out.
The color of the candle is important as well: Red or pink for love, green for money matters, blue for healing or white if no other color can be found. White is the all purpose color....
