Last night I watche the pre-theatrical release of V/H/S on pay per view. The movie came wrapped in much hype and promises of being the scariest movie to come out in years. THE VERDICT: It had some okay ideas, but fell very flat. Nothing was explained, there were far too many blurry/shakey camera shots; there was nothing here that we have not seen before. I do not think it will do well when it comes out in theaters next month. I really wish the writers and director would have fleshed some of these stories out a little more and given us a better product. It seemed like they had a number of incomplete ideas that they just rushed to put on film and disguised it as a slice of life/as it occured horror movie... But it just didn't work out in the end.
