RESOLUTIONS

    The greatest resolution you can make this year is to be in closer contact with your own higher/spiritual self. No path is more rewarding than that which leads us to the Divine. None of us are beyond having a little more enlightenment in our lives.

 





YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

    I hope everyone had a blessed and happy holiday. If you felt that surreal kind of peace and unexplainable magical feeling during your celebrations and preparations, try to hold onto that feeling throughout the rest of the year and into 2013. The world needs peace and magic right now, and the only way it will get it is by each of us, individually, radiating it outward from our hearts and souls.

THE KEYS TO THE SUPERNATURAL

    Anything is possible and you can witness more spiritual phenomena in your life. The keys to opening the door to the flow of spirit is this: Believe, expect, meditate on the subject and practice your personal spirituality daily. In order to see more manifestations of spirit in your daily life, you must charge yourself and the atmosphere around you with spiritual energy. Your mindset is also very important; meaning that the practice and study of spiritual things each day, (even for a few minutes a day,) will help you to reach the state of mind that operating in the realm of the spirit is a natural thing for you to do. The more at home you feel in the spiritual realm, the more easy it becomes to have supernatural manifestations such as healings, angelic visitations, psychic insights, communicating with deceased loved ones and much more. Your native environment is the world of the spirit, so why should you not be able to partake of and benefit from its gifts and power?



THE END OF THE WORLD

    As many of us suspected, midnight came and went on December 21st and the world is still standing. It seems people have always predicted the end of the world, and they have always been wrong; yet there are those who always believe them or become frightened over the possibility of earth being swallowed up in destruction. I read somewhere that a giant comet will be visible in our skies sometime in 2013. Some say it will be almost the size of the moon from our vantage point on earth... No doubt, some will latch on to this as the next great event that will bring the apocalypse to our planet. Don't believe the doomsayers, but rather trust in the Divine Spirit.



GIVING OF OUR TIME

    Today, I am playing Santa for the children at my wife's school. So this afternoon I get to dress up in the itchy red suite :-)  My wife works at a school that teaches autistic children, and although they have many challenges in their lives, they always brighten up and become very happy at their yearly visit from Santa Claus. What small thing can you do today that will mean the world to someone else?

 





ROADBLOCKS TO ENLIGHTENMENT

    Most times when you make the decision to live your life in a more spiritual way, a thousand things will rise up and try to prevent you. Life will suddenly become more busy, circumstances will go from bad to worse, your own thoughts will become flooded with doubts, unbelief and fear, people around you may hear about it and start to criticize, put you down or make off colored jokes about it. And sometimes you will see other "spiritual" people doing or saying some really crazy things and you will think, "is that what I will become if I continue along this path?"

    There seems to be some mysterious force that throws up every roadblock imaginable once a person decides to walk a more spiritual path. But when these things happen, keep persevering. These challenges and distractions do not last forever, and when they eventually disappear, you find that you are a more peaceful and powerful person. Let nothing hinder you from finding that divine spark within because once you find it, your life will never be the same.
