BULLYING

    Bullying is something that needs to be addressed in a serious manner. Parents need to discuss this issue with their children and make sure that they become neither the victim nor the one who bullies. Schools need tougher policies to assure that such behaviors will not be tolerated in their classrooms. It seems that bullying is at an all time high in the world today... It's bad enough that adults are doing it to one another, but when kids act so cruel towards one another, I think we have a serious problem. Children need to be made to understand the emotional and psychological damage bullying has on its victims. But perhaps the greatest cure for this social dysfunction is getting our young people back to morality and God.

COMING SOON

    I am happy to announce that I will have a new poetry book coming out soon! The title of my latest tome will be, Corridors at Dusk.. The poems in this collection harken back to my humble beginnings as a poet; when once I walked the abandoned walkways of an old mall where I used to live and compose melancholy poetry on scraps of paper. Life was changing in those days, and it was bitter sweet for sure. But it was a highly creative time and a time I would not change for anything. This is the poetry book I wanted to write then, but is coming to life now.. many years later. Some of the poems in this book are old, others are new and a nod to that time of rebirth in my life. I hope once it is released, you will all take the time to browse through what was born in those corridors at dusk at a time when creativity was new and raw with emotion!

YOU ARE MORE THAN MERE FLESH AND BONE

    The world we live in is filled with challenges; and most times, we don't know what lies around the next corner. Many people fear such things as accidents, illness, the bad economy and many other negative reports they may hear from the media. But if we really think about it, what is there to fear? You, the real you, is a spiritual/eternal being. Nothing in this world can truly harm the real you! And the real you is greater than anything in this temporary, physical world. And to make matters even more positive, you have God, the angels and a host of other spirit beings watching over you and helping you through the journey. Miracles do happen, healings do occur and good people thrive in poor economies. What do you have more faith in, God or a green piece of paper; God or illness? The Divine Spirit is there for us in our every need... and in the end, it welcomes us home with love, light and open arms! Is there really anything we should be afraid of?

WASTING WORDS

    It is true, that sometimes the best response is no response at all. Some people will never hear what you say, no matter how wise your words may be. And others will just dodge and parry. The wise person knows when to speak, and when to hold their peace.

FAKE PEOPLE

    I've been doing a lot of readings lately for people who have been hurt or abandoned by fake friends, companions and relationships. It seems to be overwhelmingly popular these days to be self centered, uncaring and ready to take off on someone at a half second's notice... It is a scary trend to see emerging on the scene in the human race; and it sometimes makes me wonder where we are all headed. This is just not something that is happening in the United States, but all over Europe and every country of the world. What happens when 99.9% of the people have adopted this mindset? What happens when our doctors, lawyers, school teachers and care givers become self absorbed pod people with no care for anyone but themselves? What happens to marriage, the family and true friends if this way of being continues to spread throughout the world? It's a scary prospect to consider and hopefully we get a grip on ourselves as human beings and stop this popular fake/selfish way of being and doing now!
