HAIKU

   Today I thought I might share some sample haiku from my book, Shadow Grove. I hope you enjoy them;

Dead space where you were

empty room devoid of soul

I still look for you.

  

Dark, empty highways

spiraling through autumn’s dream

roads that lead to home.

The past transparent

breaking me as it shatters

memories of glass.

 

Corn stalks lurch about

wind animates the field

I drift with the leaves.

 

Glossolalia

black winds murmur evil words

devils ride the night.
